Hybrid Americana(s) Opening Reception

You're invited to the opening reception of Hybrid Americana(s)! This is my first exhibition as curator, and I am incredibly excited. The exhibition features art by Brianna Armstrong, Stephanie Cuyubamba Kong, and Melissa Vandenberg that explores different notions of Americana and identity.

This event will be in conjunction with the opening reception of Covid Quilting: Crafting Amid Chaos (also in the Bolivar Gallery) curated by Magenta Palo. Admission to the exhibition is free, open to the public, and masks are required.

The artists and myself will be available during the reception to discuss the exhibition and individual pieces. I hope to see you there! If you can't make it though, the exhibition will be up from Oct. 1-16 and the Bolivar Art Gallery is open M-F: 10a- 4:30p, Sa: 12p-4p, Su: closed.
