Press Forward Blue Grass Presents: An Evening with Charles M. Blow

You're invited to an evening focused on the future of local news! Gather with Press Forward Blue Grass at the Lyric Theatre and Culture Center for a community conversation with Charles M. Blow, national political analyst and former New York Times opinion columnist, about the role of local news in democracy, civic trust and community connection.

In collaboration with Press Forward and with support from the MacArthur Foundation, Charles helped produce Reimagining Local News, a documentary that examines the crisis facing local news and the consequences for communities across the country. The film looks at what happens when local reporting disappears and why strong local journalism still matters.

This event is hosted by Press Forward Blue Grass, an initiative of Blue Grass Community Foundation, as part of a national effort to strengthen local news and the communities it serves.
