Join us for a reading and conversation with Frank X Walker. This program is a companion event to The Art of Being Black: Conversation and Experience, on display in-person and online from January 11th through the end of March.

In this presentation, Walker will share selected readings from his newest book - Masked Man, Black: Pandemic & Protest Poems - as well as work from other collections that speak to the intersection of sports and race and politics. He will also discuss his visual art pieces which are part of the exhibit.

In an effort to make the programming related to The Art of Being Black: Conversation and Experience accessible to as many people as possible, this program is being offered free of charge.
