Denise Webber: Life Lines, opening reception

Denise Webber (b1958 Leicestershire UK) is a British artist whose work spans video, drawing, and photography. Her work has featured internationally in exhibitions at Tate Modern London, Moderna Museet Stockholm, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Melbourne and is represented in the Arts Council England Collection and the Tate Archive. Her work in Life Lines explores the female body and its complicated relationships to beauty, creative authorship, and power.

Exhibition curated by Stephen Wrentmore, a British theatre director, producer, writer, academic, curator, change consultant, and arts leadership advisor. He teaches directing and Shakespeare at the University of Kentucky in the Department of Theatre and Dance.
