Perfumery Class • Learn How To Create A Light Floral/Musk Accord

This class is for those serious about beginning to learn The Art of Natural Perfumery.

I, as a Natural Perfumer, build and use Accords for many reasons. Including, but not limited to:

☆ Recreating scents that cannot be accurately extracted naturally.

☆ Creating Avante Garde Fantasy scents that otherwise would not exist.

☆ So as to replace ingredients that are not sustainable, enormously expensive, etc.

Each month, we'll meet and I'll walk you through creating a different Proprietary Accord. Each Accord class is sold individually. The Accord for June 2026 is a Light Floral / Musk. This entirely Natural Accord is free of any animal-derived ingredients. We'll begin by studying each individual ingredient. If I created the ingredient, I'll walk you through how I did that. We'll then study the Accord. Not just alone - but also how it changes anything added to it. 

I've designed each month's Accord first and foremost based on what Nature's doing. What's growing. What we as a species tend to reach for. Also how Perfumery in everything from Folklore to Pop Culture has expressed these concepts.

It has been so healing for me to feel more connected to Life's Cycles in the way I feel only provided by Natural Perfumery. I hope it will do the same for you.

All tools and supplies provided, as well as light natural refreshments. You'll leave with much additional wisdom and several Dollhouse Apothecary-sized bottles of rare and precious Aromatic Treasures. Invaluable additions to your Perfumer's Organ.

This class is for adults. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early, as there is a lot to cover and we will begin promptly at 3:30PM. Bring what you need to be comfortable and take notes. Space is limited so we can all really listen, speak and learn. Should something happen and the class is canceled, you will be promptly refunded in full. Otherwise, there are no refunds.

There is an enormous amount of behind the scenes work related to preparing all of the ingredients for a class like this. Some of the aromatics, I grow from seed. Others, I extract the scent. Every ingredient is carefully and deliberately sourced.
