The Bizarre Bazaar & BurLEX presents Attack of the Tassels

A long time ago, in a galaxxxy far, far away…

In 2017, Louisville’s femme circus collective, The Bizarre Bazaar, began an annual nerdy and dirty tradition on the weekend of Star Wars Day/ May the Fourth (be with you.) In Kentucky, there’s also a race… or something. 

Each year, the nerdlesque Star Wars parody strip show has grown, featuring performers from Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Dayton, Berea, Frankfort, and from universes beyond. The rebel alliance of drag, burlesque, sideshow and belly dance dorks took the show on the road, touching down and probing hearts and minds in multiple cities throughout the Ohio Valley region. This year, the tour of Kentucky and Ohio performers heads to:
