For many the world over, the words and sounds of Tom Waits bring us joy, sorrow, introspection and beauty. For years, musicians and burlesque dancers have collaborated in the Ohio Valley Region to bring these lyrics to life in a multi city annual show best known as the Tom Waits Weekend.

Since 2016, Louisville Waits has brought together musicians, dancers and visual artists to pay homage to the gravel-voiced baron of the smoky barroom, and in 2018, the tribute grew to include Lexington Waits. As the years went by, performers from other states and cities joined in, and the tributes took place in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio for the first time last year. This year, we are thrilled to be celebrating Waits in four cities, three states, including Indiana for the first time!
