Greek Tragedy – A New Play by Lia Romeo

This free virtual theatrical production is produced by Centre College’s Dramatic Arts Program in conjunction with The Farm Theater College Collaboration Project.

Anna and Jennifer are in their early 20’s, navigating life in NYC as the social media movement is beginning to shift. Instagram is a new commodity, and publicity is no longer reserved for celebrities. As Anna’s following grows, so do the number of negative comments. Anna soon finds herself defined by what strangers write about her on the internet. 

The Farm Theater program commissions emerging playwrights to pen plays about pressing social issues and collaborates with participating schools, giving students the opportunity to work on new plays. Centre has been a part of the program since 2014.
