Healthcare Under Attack! Two case studies and a discussion

Exploring the ways through which communities have worked to provide health care for themselves under hostile circumstances through two case studies. We will present on the efforts of the Louisville National Medical College, a black medical school, and Act Up, a political group working to end the AIDS pandemic. After the informational portion of our presentation, we will have a discussion about how what we learned can be applied to our current health organizing efforts.
