Teathered – JULY GALLERY HOP

Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning

251 West Second Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40507

Friday, July 18th
5:00pm - 8:00pm EDT

Tethered brings together six diverse artists exploring the intricate ties that can shape, ensnare, or hold us. Through painting, linocut print, resin collage, 3-D mobile, photography, and other mediums, the exhibition traces these delicate and sometimes tangled threads of connection: those we choose with love, those placed upon us by society, and those passed down through generations. Tethered invites viewers to consider how these visible and invisible bonds mold our identities, challenge our autonomy, and ultimately bind us (gently or tightly) to one another.
