Tim Daisy and Sebastian Strinning are a Chicago/Sweden free jazz duo featuring drums and saxophone. Tim Daisy is a Chicago-based percussionist and composer working in the fields of improvised and composed music. Since his arrival on the scene in 1997, he has performed and recorded original music for modern dance, sound installations, film, and improvised music ensembles of various configurations. Tim has visited Lexington for a number of OTS shows over the years, and we look forward to seeing him again this fall! Check out Tim's Bandcamp

Sebastian Strinning is a Swiss/Swedish jazz musician whose focus is on experimental jazz and free improvised music. Check out his work with Tim Daisy on Bandcamp.


Tandem is a Lexington-based piano and reeds duo with Raleigh Dailey and Cara Thomas. Raleigh Dailey is an internationally recognized jazz pianist, composer, scholar, and educator. He is the pianist and staff arranger for the DiMartino/Osland Jazz Orchestra as well as the pianist and composer for the Osland/Dailey Jazztet. Cara Thomas is a multi-woodwind performer, music educator, and yoga instructor who is passionate about helping others manifest and discover artful expressions of the self.


This event is free and all ages, with a suggested donation of $10. Donations in any amount accepted at the door support the ongoing work of the OTS series and are greatly appreciated. This performance is sponsored by WRFL 88.1fm, the student-run radio station for the University of Kentucky. WRFL offers its listeners a source of music, news, and other programming not regularly found through other media outlets in central Kentucky and is a longstanding supporter of the OTS Series.
