We're making a plan for Lexington's Public Art! Let's talk about it!

The Public Arts Commission, Chaired by Councilmember Bill Farmer, is at work on a Public Art Master Plan. This plan will provide the vision and direction for increasing public art across Lexington-Fayette Co., and for administering the Percent for Art Resolution which was passed at the end of 2018.

Critical to this process is input and ideas from our community. In November, we began a series of public art meetings as well as a community survey.  We invite you to attend this brief meeting and to learn more about the Public Art Master Plan and to share your ideas and interests in how public art will contribute to our neighborhoods, streets and public places.
