An Evening with Ben Solle & Friends

The event is a fundraiser for the James Baker Hall Foundation which supports Kentucky writers through direct supports and grants. An Evening with Ben Sollee & Friends will feature music by Ben and poetry by current Kentucky Poet Laureate Kathleen Driskell, Affrilachian poet Marta Miranda-Straub & Kentucky Museum of Arts & Crafts Poetry Slam creator Lance G. Newman II. Each poet will do a short reading and the evening will conclude with a set of music from the Grammy-winning composer and cellist, Ben Sollee.
