Behind the Curtain: White Christmas

Join The Lexington Theatre Company for a virtual look “Behind the Curtain” of the holiday classic, White Christmas. Delight in the music, share in the backstage stories and embrace the Christmas spirit with cast members and creatives from the Broadway and touring companies of this family classic.

This one-time, special Zoom event will include LIVE performances of some of the most treasured songs from White Christmas, interviews with the Broadway stars and creatives and an interactive talkback session, hosted by The Lex Artistic Director, Lyndy Franklin Smith. Featuring Broadway’s Mara Davi, David Elder and Randy Skinner, along with The Lex Resident Music Director, Brock Terry, this is a perfect way to kick off your holidays!

Add to your experience with a special White Christmas inspired dinner by Chef Ouita Michel. Choose the "Vermont Inspired" Three Course Dinner (for one) or Family Dinner (for four). Additional options include Ouita’s Sharp Cheddar Wafers, Ouita’s Christmas Cookie Box, and three delightful cocktails-to-go. Dinners will be available for pick-up at Zim’s Cafe in downtown, Lexington.

How it Works

The “Behind the Curtain” Zoom Experience is purchased separately from the Chef Ouita Michel dinner-to-go.

Ticket price for the “Behind the Curtain” Zoom Experience is per device. Purchaser name must match Zoom username for admission. Ticket purchasers will access the Zoom room through the Eventbrite online event page. (You will need the free Zoom App to participate in this event.)

If you would like to add on Chef Ouita Michel’s White Christmas inspired dinner-to-go, simply add as many dinners or additional items as you would like to this Eventbrite order. (Must be 21 years of age or older to purchase cocktails.) We will follow up with a separate sign-up form to secure your pick-up time between 5:00 and 6:30pm on Saturday, December 5, at Zim’s Cafe. (215 W Main Street, Suite 25, Lexington KY 40507).

The Zoom Experience is designed to be interactive. Our performers and moderators will lead the event, but we are excited to recreate a shared experience of the magic of storytelling and music. You’ll be able to join with your camera (if you prefer), or just watch along. We’ll take questions in the chat feature during the Q&A. Enjoy getting to know these wonderful artists and being together with your theatre-going friends. Please note audio or video recording of this event is prohibited.

Dinner Add-On Tickets must be purchased by Monday, November 30. Zoom Experience Tickets may be purchased until 7:00pm on Saturday, December 5.
